Quoting from Sheffield University's website...

'Students from thirty UK universities will visit the city this weekend to take part in one of the largest Malaysian sports festivals in the country. The University of Sheffield´s Malaysian Student Association (SMSA) together with the Malaysian Singaporean Society (MASSOC) will host the annual Sheffield Malaysian Games on Saturday 5 March at the Concord Sports Centre in Sheffield.

Over 1,000 athletes will take part in outdoor and indoor games, including football, tennis, netball, volleyball, badminton, squash, ping pong and chess. Athletes and spectators will also get the chance to sample traditional Malaysian cuisine after the games.

The Sheffield Malaysian Games was first held in 1992 and is one of the largest sport festivals for Malaysian students in the UK...'

It was hell of a day for all the committee members and the volunteers....the weather on that day sucks (snow, rain n hail come and go...sighhh). But that doesn't stop the flow of event to go as planned...my unit (Sports Technical) only spent around 3 hours of sleep a day before, preparing for the success of this event...all that 4-5 months effort paid off, it was a HUGE success ...but i don't think i'm gonna participate in the flow of the games next year; be it a committee member or a volunteer, hehehehe...

nice set

Well, truly that headline is wayyyyy overstated...pardon me but it's been 3 days since sheffield's been snowing...pretty much non-stop...rumours said that it will last till the weekend...sighhhh...u see, it was really really fun engaging in snowfights, making snowman n things like that...but there's the bloopers of course...slippery surfaces makes your butt screaming in pain ...well, at this moment, i'm better off watching Desperate Housewives in my computer than having another snowfight....or perhaps a lil' dose of hibernation....zzzZZZzzz...

bessttttnya....nanti nak ambik gambar gakkk lahh...

Well, i was in my maths lecture when my lecturer mentioned about phi (it's the so called golden number which exists in nature without we realising it)...this phi (the number is 1.6180339887...) is even applied in the search of the perfect beauty...Well, i've seen it in Discovery Channel before but didn't make an attempt to find it out more...well, today i've found a site: http://www.beautyanalysis.com/ and found a template of what happens to be the perfect face, mathematically...A beautiful face will be the face which alligns the closest to the template...This template was designed based on what's called the Fibonacci series, which is based on the phi number...I surely don't wanna explain the maths part as i'm not really good at it...here are some of the pictures taken from the site...Well, i'm doing this because i'm bored and this is one fun stuff...so check it out, if u guys haven't know about it...

P/S: for more info on other applications of phi in our life, check out http://goldennumber.net/
Peace out..
